GETAWAY VALET TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By booking, using, or accepting services from Getaway Valet (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), the customer (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agrees to the following Terms and Conditions.
- SERVICES PROVIDED
Getaway Valet provides airport vehicle pickup, transportation, storage, and return services. Customers authorize Getaway Valet personnel to take possession of and operate their vehicle for the purpose of transporting, storing, servicing (if requested), and returning the vehicle.
- CUSTOMER ELIGIBILITY
By using our services, you represent and warrant that:
• You are at least 18 years of age. • You are the legal owner of the vehicle or have authorization from the owner. • The vehicle is properly registered and insured. • The vehicle is in safe operating condition. • You possess all necessary keys, fobs, and access devices required to operate the vehicle.
- VEHICLE CONDITION
The Customer is responsible for disclosing any existing vehicle damage, mechanical issues, warning lights, or operating concerns before surrendering the vehicle.
Getaway Valet may document the vehicle’s condition through photographs, videos, written inspection reports, or other records at pickup and return.
Failure to report pre-existing damage may limit our ability to investigate subsequent claims.
- STORAGE OF VEHICLE
Vehicles will be stored in a covered garage or other secured facility designated by Getaway Valet.
While reasonable care is exercised in storing and handling vehicles, Getaway Valet does not guarantee against loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
- AUTHORIZATION TO OPERATE VEHICLE
Customer grants Getaway Valet and its authorized employees permission to operate the vehicle as necessary to:
• Transport the vehicle to and from storage facilities. • Relocate the vehicle within storage facilities. • Perform requested services. • Conduct necessary safety checks.
- CUSTOMER PROPERTY
Customers are encouraged to remove all valuables from their vehicle before pickup.
Getaway Valet is not responsible for:
• Cash • Jewelry • Electronics • Firearms • Prescription medications • Personal documents • Other valuables left inside the vehicle
Any personal property left in the vehicle remains at the Customer’s sole risk.
- VEHICLE INSURANCE
Customer acknowledges that the vehicle is covered by the Customer’s own automobile insurance policy.
Getaway Valet maintains commercial insurance coverage as required by law. Any claim involving vehicle damage shall be investigated and processed in accordance with applicable insurance policies and legal requirements.
- DAMAGE CLAIMS
Any claim for vehicle damage must be reported before the Customer leaves the vehicle return location or within twenty-four (24) hours of vehicle delivery.
The Company reserves the right to inspect and investigate all claims before accepting responsibility.
Getaway Valet shall not be responsible for:
• Pre-existing damage • Mechanical failures • Tire punctures caused by road hazards • Manufacturer defects • Normal wear and tear • Damage resulting from undisclosed vehicle conditions
- DELAYS AND FORCE MAJEURE
Getaway Valet shall not be liable for delays caused by:
• Traffic conditions • Airport restrictions • Weather events • Road closures • Security incidents • Government actions • Airline schedule changes • Circumstances beyond reasonable control
- CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer agrees to:
• Provide accurate flight information. • Notify Getaway Valet of flight changes when possible. • Provide accurate contact information. • Arrive at the designated meeting location at the scheduled time.
- PAYMENT
Payment is due according to the rates and fees published by Getaway Valet at the time of booking.
Additional charges may apply for:
• Extended storage • Vehicle oversize classifications • Late pickups • Additional requested services • Excessive cleaning requirements
- CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Cancellation and refund policies are posted on our website and incorporated into these Terms and Conditions.
Refunds, if any, shall be issued in accordance with the policy in effect at the time of booking.
- PROHIBITED ITEMS
Customers shall not leave illegal substances, hazardous materials, explosives, or other prohibited items in the vehicle.
Getaway Valet reserves the right to refuse service if prohibited items are discovered or suspected.
- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Getaway Valet’s liability shall be limited to direct damages resulting from its negligence.
Getaway Valet shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of use, loss of income, travel disruptions, or business losses.
- INDEMNIFICATION
Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Getaway Valet, its owners, officers, employees, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from:
• Customer’s breach of these Terms. • Ownership or condition of the vehicle. • Customer-provided inaccurate information. • Violations of applicable laws.
- GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Massachusetts.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the court of law.
- SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
- ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By booking, scheduling, or using Getaway Valet services, the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
